Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan supported the intention of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to join Customs Union, Vladimir Putin said.

“We have supported the intention of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to join our integration project,” Putin said during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Russian leader said a working group was set up with and was entasked to prepare a road map on joining of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, RIA Novosti reported.

The leaders of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan participated in the meeting. The presidents of Armenia, Ukraine and Tajikistan as well as representative of the Kyrgyz leader were invited to the meeting.
