YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, a delegation, led by Greek Minister of National Defence Dimitris Avramopoulos, arrived in Armenia Monday on a two-day official visit.   

At the Armenian MOD, the two defense ministers held a private conversation, which was followed by extended talks.  

They discussed Armenian-Greek military cooperation as well as regional and international security. The parties greatly appreciated the high level of collaboration between the defense ministries of Armenia and Greece.   

Subsequently, the Greek delegation paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, laid a wreath to the monument to the genocide victims, and also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
