YEREVAN. – A closed meeting of the standing committee on defense and security of the CSTO parliamentary assembly kicked off in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Head of the department of information programs of the CSTO secretariat Alexander Vinidiktov will present the results of the September session and the ongoing work on ratification of international treaties adopted within the framework of CSTO.

The parliamentarians will hear the report of the Committee chairman, member of the Russian Duma committee on security and corruption prevention Anatoly Vibornov who will tell about the results of the Coordination meeting of the chairmen of CSTO member states’ committees on defense.

The participants will discussed political and military situation in the Caucasus, and will hold a meeting with Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
