YEREVAN. – Four non-coalition parliamentary factions - ARF, ANC, Prosperous Armenia and Heritage plan to send an inquiry to the government to get the details about the Armenian-Russian gas contract.

Talking to reporters, MP from ARF Artsvik Minasyan said the inquiry will concern the talks, negotiation process as well as controversial information provided by the government.

“The data provided by the Minister of Energy and other government officials contradicts one another. We do not need to hurry with petitioning to Constitutional Court because we have to get all the answers to our questions and strengthen our positions not to address the Constitutional Court in vain,” he said.

Minasyan noted that an appeal to the Constitutional Court will be transferred to next year.
