STEPANAKERT. – A ceremony was held, on Saturday at the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR)— or Artsakh—Presidential Palace, during which several individuals received awards for their outstanding achievements in a variety of domains.

In his remarks, President Sahakyan stressed that the daily painstaking work toward the strengthening of the country, making it more prosperous, and cementing Karabakh’s independent statehood are a unique expression of patriotism that deserves high appreciation.

The President congratulated the award recipients, and he expressed confidence that this will give a renewed impetus to the work with devotion and achieve new successes adding that the accomplishments recorded in different domains are the triumph of the entire Armenian nation, and they greatly contribute to the overall progress.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, PM Ara Harutyunyan, and several other officials also attended the event.
