April 29, the newly appointed OSCE MG Russian Co-Chair Igor Popov met with NKR President Bako Sahakyan and Foreign Minister Georgi Petrosyan.
At a briefing, following the meetings, Popov stated that Nagorno-Karabakh should be involved in peace process at a certain stage of the talks. He discussed Karabakhi social-economic issues, namely the construction of Stepanakert airport with president Sahakyan. Popov pledged to step up efforts in the swift resolution to Karabakh conflict.
