The death toll in a fire razed in the centre of Bangladeshi capital Dhaka reached at least 108 people. The blaze was believed to have been broken out by an explosion in an electrical transformer, destroying 20 buildings, Lenta.ru reports.
The great number of casualties is accounted for the neighborhood is an area of residential and commercial buildings.
A wedding celebration was held in one of the houses. The death toll in the building reached 40.
