Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that soon banknotes with nominal value of 5 thousand bolivars will enter circulation, reports Reuters.

Maduro said that due to the economic crisis and the associated inflation, Venezuela will soon have to solve the issue of issuing larger banknotes.  Now the country's largest banknote costs $ 0.02 only in the black market, whereas 5000 bolivars will be equal to $ 1.

The Venezuelan president said that soon they will put into circulation millions of banknotes of 500 and 5000 bolivars. He added, that the Venezuelan central bank will publish a more detailed information in the coming days.
