U.S. President-elect Donald J. Trump responded to the criticism of the actress Meryl Streep, The New York Times reported.

He dismissed Meryl Streep as “a Hillary lover”.

Also, the president-elect, in a brief telephone interview, said that he was “not surprised” that he had come under attack from “liberal movie people” adding that he had not seen Streep’s remarks or other parts of the Globes ceremony.

Earlier, Meryl Streep sharply criticized U.S.  President-elect Donald J. Trump in her speech at the Golden Globes award ceremony.
