President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree ''On Establishing visa free regime for the entry and exit of foreign citizens,'' BELTA reports.

The document prescribes visa free regime for the citizens of 80 states in case of entering Belarus for no longer than five days via the state border of the National Minsk Airport.

The decree extends to 39 European countries, including the entire Eurasian Union, as well as Brazil, Indonesia, US, Japan, etc. These are first of all the countries, which are favorable in terms of migration, the strategic partners of Belarus, as well as states which have unilaterally established visa free regime in regard to Belarusian citizens.

The new rules also cover such categories as non-citizens of Latvia and persons not having Estonian citizenship. The document is aimed at invigorating the trips of businessmen, tourists and private persons having regular passports. It will not extend to foreigners carrying out official trips: diplomatic, service, special and other equivalent passports will not be taken into consideration.
