China is trying to make joint efforts to promote development of China-US relations with the new US administration, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying, commenting on Donald Trump’s inauguration to be held on January 20, reports Xinhua. 

Chunying said, that China closely follows the inauguration of the new US president. China-US relations are the most important bilateral relationship in the world. Healthy and stable development of bilateral relations is in the interests of both countries.

According to her, the development of these relations in recent years are the evidence of the fact, that the two countries have more common interests than differences.
