Russian, Iranian, and Turkish delegations are holding a meeting in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan, ahead of the Syria talks to be conducted, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
In particular, Kazakh FM Kairat Abdrakhmanov, director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Russian MFA, Sergei Vershinin; Iranian Deputy FM Hossein Jaberi Ansari; and a Turkish delegation are taking part in this meeting.
The Astana international talks on Syria are slated for Monday.
