Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters he is anxious to meet with U.S. President Trump.

As Milliyet reported, the Turkish President emphasized that the current Turkey-U.S. relations could not be considered as healthy and there was no solidarity in Turkey-NATO cooperation. Erdogan noted that he would like to meet Trump immediately.

“We have certain expectations from U.S. authorities, including the issue of the extradition of Gulen,” the Turkish President stated adding that he would also like to meet the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
