The British government does not intend to cancel Trump’s visit to UK, reports DW. “We sent and the American side received our invitation,” said the spokesman of the Downing Street, when asked about the petition to cancel Donald Trump’s official visit to Great Britain, because of his immigration policy. The petition posted on the website of the Britain parliament was signed by more than one million people.

The petition states, that " Donald Trump's well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales. Therefore, during the term of his presidency Donald Trump should not be invited to the United Kingdom for an official State Visit." Moreover, the authors of the petition do not dispute the visit of Trump to the UK in another format.

Earlier, Theresa May issued a statement, in which she expressed her disagreement with the decision of Donald Trump on banning the entry of Muslim migrants from seven countries to the US.
