Istanbul Armenian attorney Selina Doğan, who is an MP from the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) of Turkey, paid tribute to Armenian feminists, from the rostrum of the country’s parliament.  

During her remarks on women’s rights, Doğan criticized the fact that the Armenian women who fought for women’s rights in Turkey are not commemorated in the country, according to Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul.

In addition, Selina Doğan presented the short life stories of these Armenian women.
