YEREVAN. – The population of Armenia assesses positively the work by the country’s government, led by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan. 

Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) General Director Valery Fedorov on Thursday presented, at a press conference in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, the results of a survey which VCIOM had conducted in the country. 

Accordingly, 77 percent of the respondents gave a positive assessment to the activities of the Karapetyan-led government. To note, 31 percent of these respondents said the work of this government was “definitely positive” while 46 percent said it was “rather positive.”

Solely 12 percent of the respondents gave a negative evaluation the work of this government.

The survey was conducted before the parliamentary election campaign season, and among 1,600 respondents.
