YEREVAN. – Armenia’s concessions in Karabakh peace process are unacceptable, ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Aghvan Vardanyan said on Thursday during his party’s campaign rally in Gegharkunik province.

“If we make concessions on the matter, war will start earlier and we will have great losses. The enemies will reach Zangezur and Vardenis,” said Vardanyan, the second in ARF proportional list.

Talking to his supporters in the village of Geghamavan, he said Armenia had already won in the past, and now it is necessary to retain the achievements not to yield to those who do not want any concessions at all.

“If they [Azerbaijan – ed.] do not want to talk bout mutual concessions, why should we try to talk to them about this?” he wonders.

The campaign kicked off on March 5 with nine parties and alliances running for the parliament. The parliamentary elections are set for April 2.
