Azerbaijan has drawn an appropriate conclusion from the statement by French President François Hollande.

After his meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Hollande proposed to “develop a mechanism that will enable to carry out monitoring and prevention. Sanctions are also possible in case of actions against peace,” wrote Haqqin.az news agency of Azerbaijan, and concluded: “Given that the Armenian media are disseminating this statement, also the fact that it is Yerevan which insists that a mechanism be introduced for the investigations of ceasefire violations, there is little doubt that they mean Azerbaijan, when speaking of sanctions.”
