YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon Gebran Bassil have exchanged messages on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In his message, Nalbandian noted that there are very few countries in the world that are linked to one another with as many ties as Armenia and Lebanon are, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, Nalbandian stressed that the large Lebanese Armenian community is a key guarantee for the further strengthening and development of these ties. The FM added that today, in all likelihood, there is no domain that is not included in Armenian-Lebanese cooperation.

Bassil, for his part, noted in his message that the Lebanon-Armenia friendly cooperative relations further strengthened and became closer over the course of these past 25 years. The Lebanese minister stressed that the relations between these two countries maintain the positive course of comprehensive development. In addition, he reaffirmed the Lebanese government’s commitment to further strengthen relations with Armenia.
