YEREVAN. – After Garnik Tsarukyan’s decision to quit politics in 2015, Prosperous Armenia party has not been dissolved, candidate from Tsarukyan alliance told reporters.

Only certain people left the party, which can happen with any political force, Zohrab Zohrabyan said.

“You saw that Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. He had been a business man during all his life, but he went to politics and tried to do something new for his country. He brought a new model,” said the candidate of a political alliance called by the name of its leader Gagik Tsarukyan.

Asked whether he compares Tsarukyan with Trump, the candidate noted: “Of course”.
