Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Thursday visited PharmaTech CJSC operating in Alliance free trade zone, the press-service of the Armenian Government informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The PM toured the manufacturing facilities and got familiarized with the working conditions and development programs. He also underscored the importance of increasing the volumes of production.

Afterwards Karapetyan visited Arabkir Medical Center, where he got familiarized with the obstetrical services.

The PM then held a consultation with the representatives of the Union of Healthcare Organizers NGO. The sides discussed the quality of healthcare services, system of state order allocation, control over the quality of medicines, as well as the condition of district hospitals and polyclinics. Karapetyan urged the organization representatives to draw up proposals along with the Ministry of Health on the aforementioned issues.
