The damage from hailstorm has not yet been assessed, Governor of Armenia’s Armavir province, Ashot Ghahramanyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am on Tuesday.

In his words, he instructed the village councils to assess the data and submit the data to the province administration within 3-4 days.

Ghahramanyan visited the province communities and got familiarized with the consequences of the hail. The administration will turn to the Government with the proposal to compensate the damage only after the applications of the farmers are concluded. “For instance, last year we compensated the villagers for the irrigation water,” the governor noted.
