Examination has confirmed the preliminary causes of death of an Armenian man and his two-year-old son in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

German Ananyants, vice chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia, told about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, this Armenian man was Alik Hakobyan.

According to the examination, the man had died of a drug overdose, whereas his little son—due to lack of care. It is not known for how long the two-year-old child was left without food and water inside a car.

The man and the child had gone missing on May 1, after a walk.

On May 28, local residents had seen a suspicious vehicle at a courtyard in Chelyabinsk. The dead bodies of this man and the little boy were at the back seat of this vehicle. According to investigators, the 48-year-old man had abused drugs. Both victims are Armenian citizens.
