YEREVAN. – President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, on Wednesday received Chinese Ambassador Tian Erlong.

First, he praised the current level of Armenian-Chinese relations, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, the Armenian NA speaker underscored the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the development and deepening of bilateral relations. In this context, Babloyan expressed the hope that Armenian-Chinese relations will enter a new phase of development.

In his remarks, Ambassador Erlong highlighted the role of the Armenian-Chinese friendship in terms of the development of relations between the two countries. In addition, the Chinese diplomat expressed the hope that the new National Assembly of Armenia will also actively cooperate with the National People’s Congress of China.
