The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and ARF-D have been able to present a realistic and ambitious Government program, where the precise targets mentioned are based on the speech delivered by the Armenian president on May 18.

Spokesman for the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly (NA), told the aforementioned to journalists after the RPA Executive Body session on Friday.

“We plan a 5 percent annual economic growth, 25 percent growth of minimal wage by a five-year program, and a 12 percent reduction of unemployment. Great attention is paid to the anti-corruption struggle and the issues of the security of Armenia, paying very close attention to and deepening the nation-army ideology,” Sharmazanov added.

In his words, the Government program will be introduced to the National Assembly already next week. Sharmazanov also noted that when introducing the program, the prime minister will also report on the work done. Other details on the Government program will be presented by the Government representatives, the Deputy Speaker said.
