YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan has once again violated the international agreements, staging large drills without prior notification.
As Armenia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tigran Balayan told Armenian News–NEWS.am, commenting on Azerbaijani media about the exercises of the Azerbaijani army, there is a violation of the Vienna Document of 2011.
“There was no prior notification,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
According to the Azerbaijani media, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will launch large-scale exercises on June 19.
The exercises will involve nearly 23,000 military personnel, up to 120 tanks and armored vehicles, about 180 rocket and artillery systems of different calibers, multiple launch rocket systems and mortars, up to 30 combat aircrafts of various purposes, as well as new types of electronic warfare assets and unmanned aerial vehicles. The exercises will last until June 24.
