YEREVAN. – Investments in the construction sector of Armenia will amount to about $150 million, by the year’s end, said Narek Sargsyan, Chairman of the State Urban Development Committee, at a press conference on Friday.

“The [capital city Yerevan] Municipality’s [respective] investments will total $70 million; the [corresponding] investment portfolio of the Urban Development Committee will total $70 to $100 million,” Sargsyan noted. “These numbers refer to this year’s projects. But the whole investment package, which is envisioned for the implementation of projects, will exceed $300 million.”
