The results of the forthcoming talk between the Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump may impact Armenia, reported the Voice of America Armenian Service.

American analysts are convinced although the key pressing issues of the planet will be discussed at this first Putin-Trump meeting, its results will directly reflect on the South Caucasus Countries.

Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, or South Caucasus issues will probably not be discussed in the upcoming talk, but the results of this meeting will have a direct impact on the region, analyst Stephen Blank told the Voice of America. He added that a negative end to this talk could needlessly add pressure on the South Caucasus countries.

Another analyst, former ambassador Stephen Sestanovich, expects that the public will focus not solely on the content of this Trump-Putin talk, but the body language of the two leaders. As per the former diplomat, however, there should just one main expectation from this meeting.
