Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Saudi Royal Court said in a statement issued Tuesday that Prince Salman bin Saad bin Abdullah bin Turki Al Saud has passed away, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
But the cause of his death is not noted.
Erem News, however, reported that the 26-year-old prince had died from heart attack.
