The UK and Japan are aiming to conclude a bilateral trade agreement immediately after Brexit, Reuters reported quoting UK government source.
“Our intention would be for our deal to come into force pretty much immediately. That’s the UK position and they’ve (Japan) agreed to it,” a government source said on Thursday.
He also noted that, Prime Minister Theresa May met chairmen of Toyota, Nissan and Hitachi during her trip to Japan.
According to him, the meetings were positive.
