Strong winds and heavy rains have reached the US state of Florida, as devastating Hurricane Irma approaches the peninsula.
The water level is already rising on the shore, and this hurricane is expected to inundate several districts.
Local authorities have ordered the evacuation of around 6.3 million people, which is a quarter of Florida’s population, reported the BBC.
