US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held phone talks with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud, State Department's press service reported.
The sides discussed current problems in the region and reasons for increasing tension in the region and ways to strengthen security.
The two also touched upon the issue of unhindered navigation and activities of Iranian authorities and respect for human rights.
