Poland decided to demand compensation for the damage of the World War II, and the country plans to demand Germany pay reparations for the devastation of Poland, Der Spiegel reported.

A special parliamentary committee has been set up in Poland’s parliament to present a final report on the matter.

Poland’s president Andrzej Duda said such compensation is a matter of responsibility and morality, Duda told Bild.

“The war we are talking about today has caused tremendous damage in Poland,” he emphasized.
