Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, addressing a message to the people of the country on Monday, announced the need for the state to withdraw agricultural land used for other purposes.

He tweeted that many of those who received the right to lease land for free from the state keep the land for future use without working on it and it's time to start seizing unused agricultural land, Tengrinews reported referring to President’s press service reported.

The President also noted that the international competitiveness of state-owned companies is in doubt.
