182,500 chickens and domestic ducks to be slaughtered in Czech poultry farms amid outbreaks of bird flu, Czech Radio reports.
Since the beginning of 2021, bird flu has spread throughout the country.
According to the ministry of agriculture of the Czech Republic, the flu was transferred to poultry by wild ducks. The risk of human infection with avian influenza is low.
