A fatal traffic accident took place Friday in Shirak Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reported.
At around 10pm, a car—driven by Shirak resident Arkadi Hovhannisyan, 28—hit a pedestrian—Shirak Anahit Z., 55—on the Marmashen highway.
The driver did not flee the scene, called an ambulance, but the paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced this pedestrian woman dead.
A criminal case has been launched into this incident.
