Russia and Turkey did no sign an agreement on South Stream pipeline construction along the Turkish coast of the Black Sea during RF President Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Ankara, Kommersant reports.

According to the newspaper, a “roadmap” with conditions concerning the South Stream pipeline in Turkey’s exclusive economic zone was among the documents to be signed in Ankara.

The managing director of East European Gas Analysis Mikhail Korchemkin considers that document was not signed, as the Russian side included conditions unacceptable for Turkey in the roadmap. Earlier it was reported that the pipeline issue was to be a focal point of the Ankara talks.
