The Standing Parliamentary Commission on Defense and Security, at an extraordinary meeting initiated by the opposition 'Armenia' bloc on November 23, honored the memory of the soldier who died the day before with a minute of silence.
On November 22, at about 6 pm, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from firearms of various calibers at Armenian positions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, in particular, in the area of the village of Norabak, Gegharkunik province, as a result of which one of the servicemen was mortally wounded. It turned out to be a private conscript Suren Safaryan, born in 2002.
