KIEV. - In 2010, Ukraine sold 71 BTRs to Azerbaijan and 16.5 thousand submachine guns to Armenia, reports Eurasianet.org, referring to United Nations Register of Conventional Arms, to which countries are supposed to report all the weapons imports and exports they have engaged in over the previous year.

Ukraine sold Azerbaijan:

71 BTR-70 armored combat vehicles (without arms)

Seven 122mm self-propelled artillery systems

One Mi-24R attack helicopter

3,000 submachine guns

One portable anti-tank missile launcher or rocket system.

In the same period Ukraine sold Armenia:

Two L-39 training aircrafts

230 revolvers and pistols

60 rifles and carbines

16,500 submachine guns
