Russia has recognized Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) as the legitimate government.
Russia established diplomatic relations with Libya back in 1955 and never interrupted them regardless of which government was in power in Tripoli, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The embassy in Moscow replaced green flag with a three-color flag of Libya’s revolution.
