MOSCOW. – During Kazakhstan’s presidency of the CSTO, protection of information and further strengthening of Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) will be among the priorities for the CSTO member states, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated at the press conference summing up results of the CSTO session on Tuesday.

Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan’s priorities are protection of information space, further strengthening of the CRRF, protection of air territory, strengthening struggle against drug trafficking.

“Kazakhstan considers the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) as an important institute for mutual cooperation in the sphere of military construction, protection of territorial integrity and sovereignty of the member states, as well as a tool providing national security,” Nazarbayev stated, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Moscow.

Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) features Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
