US President Donald Trump said he would not be opposed to sending European peacekeepers to Ukraine.

Asked whether he was ready to support sending a European peacekeeping force to Ukraine, Trump said that if that's what they want, that would be great.

While signing new executive orders at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, the US president said he fully supported it if that's what they want.

But according to him, this is possible only if a peace agreement is signed.

"We're talking about this now peace we have either a ceasefire or a peace itself and we're looking to do both would start off with the ceasefire and if they want to do that... I know France was willing to do that,, and I thought that was a beautiful gesture," the US president concluded.
