U.S. President Donald Trump has said he will stop strikes against Yemen's Houthis, the Associated Press reports. According to Trump, the Houthis have “capitulated” to the US.
He added that the Houthis would stop attacking ships in the Red Sea.
In mid-March, the US president said on the social network Truth Social that he had ordered the country's armed forces to launch “decisive and powerful military action” against the Yemeni Houthis.
