Syrian Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa will visit the United States in September and address a UN meeting, the website of Syria TV reported, citing sources.
As the media outlet emphasizes, this will be the first speech of the Syrian president at the UN in 60 years.
It is also noted that a number of other events are planned within the framework of al-Sharaa's visit to the United States.
