YEREVAN. - During Yerevan city council’s special session on Friday Yerevan Major Taron Margaryan informed that the deputy mayor Vahagn Araqelyan has resigned.
Taron Margaryan nominated the financial head of the staff Vahe Naikoyan as deputy major, the press service of Yerevan city hall informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The council members voted unanimously for Vahe Nikoyan.
The city council also confirmed the agreement of Yerevan and Venice becoming sister cities.
