YEREVAN. – The driver’s heart attack was the cause of Wednesday’s accident on Armenian capital Yerevan’s “Lambada” Bridge. The person was Yerevan City Hall driver Tatul Poghosyan, 33, Road Police told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Although Poghosyan was transferred to hospital on the same day, Road Police informed that he died on Thursday morning.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, there was an accident on Yerevan’s “Lambada” Bridge, on Wednesday. A rescue squad and an operative team, together with paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.

A Nissan X-Trail went off road, for yet unknown reasons, and it suspended from the curb. Prior to the rescuers’ arrival, however, the vehicle’s driver, Tatul Poghosyan, 33, was taken to hospital by local assistance.
