In total, 37 works by Shakespeare in 37 various languages will be read during the international innovative Globe To Globe festival.

Over the next two months, audiences can hear Shakespeare in Armenian, and 36 other languages (including sign) as part of Globe To Globe, a groundbreaking theatrical incarnation of Babel, British Metro reports.

The Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre of Armenia is in rehearsal for King John (May 16 and 17).

“People think King John is one of Shakespeare’s weaker plays,” Armen Marutyan said playing the King. “But I think you can draw a line between King John, Hamlet and King Lear.”
