YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Heritage Party met with the voters of Yerevan city Nor-Nork district on Saturday.

Heritage leader Raffi Hovhannisian touched upon the statement of the Russian Regnum Agency according to which the leaders of Heritage and Free Democrats Party met with representatives of the Turkish government in London.

“They don’t have anything else to say so they state that I and my colleague from the Free Democrats met with Turkish Government representatives in London. What a disgrace, another lie which should not even be discussed. It is a shame and one can only guess why the known Russian agency has agreed to publish the announcement of a nameless Armenian coward,” Raffi Hovhannisian said in his speech, adding that we must eliminate Turks among us.

According to Raffi Hovhannsian, Turkey will recognize the Armenian Genocide and will compensate but first of all we must eliminate the Turks among us.

Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian.

Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with joint proportional list.

The proportional list of the party includes members of extra-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and civil society representatives.

Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
