GYUMRI. – The protesters gathered near prosecutor's office in Gyumri decided to march to the Russian Consulate.

Some protesters are still near prosecutor's office where numerous police officers have gathered.

Member of the parliament Martun Grigoryan, native of Gyumri, is trying to persuade people to leave the area.

The situation is very tense, the consulate is cordoned by police, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported.

The demonstrators are throwing stones at the police officers, one protester has been detained.
