On the occasion of the end his diplomatic mission in Iran, Armenia’s Ambassador Grigor Arakelyan on Wednesday met with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Morteza Sarmadi.

Sarmadi said that relations with the neighboring states have special importance for Iran. In his view, the high-level of mutual visits between the two countries suggest that there is no obstacle before the expansion and development of Armenian-Iranian cooperation.

Ambassador Arakelyan, for his part, expressed satisfaction by the multiplication of the opportunities to enhance bilateral relations.

At the end of the talk, Morteza Sarmadi thanked Grigor Arakelyan for his diplomatic work in Iran, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
